We want everyone in the neighborhood to be able to use this site, and everything the site does can also be done by phone: (718) 479-3119.

What the site does for accessibility

• Works with keyboard navigation and screen readers: real headings, labeled form fields, text alternatives on images.
• High-contrast black-on-paper text throughout.
• Honors your system's reduced-motion setting; the only animations are small and optional.
• No time limits, no autoplaying media, no flashing content.
• Text resizes with your browser settings.

Known limits

The design imitates old print advertising, so some decorative pieces (the starburst, the tear-off tabs) are visual flourishes; their function is always available as plain text or a normal link too. We are not currently aware of any barrier that blocks using the site, but we have not yet had it audited by an outside reviewer.
